John Carvelli serves serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer for LIBERTY Dental Plans. He began his career in public service as a press aide to former U.S. Senator Bill Bradley of New Jersey, following earlier roles with the California State Assembly. He has remained active in civic and political affairs, including serving as Chairman of the California State Athletic Commission. He is also a former Delegate to the California Republican Party and Chairman Emeritus of the “400 Club” of the Republican Party of Orange County. A graduate of The Catholic University of America, he earned a B.A. in Politics in 1984. He has also served as a member of the University’s Board of Trustees since 2023.
