Superintendent of Catholic Schools, Diocese of Charlotte

Currently serving as the Superintendent of Catholic Schools for the Diocese of Charlotte, Dr. Monroe is an expert in strategic planning and continuous school improvement through the lens of Catholic Identity. His experience includes overseeing the educational technology implementation and use for the Archdiocese of Omaha, principal of a Catholic high school in Florida, director of career services and leadership development for Christendom College, multiple years of classroom teaching at the elementary and secondary levels, and serving as a parish youth minister. 

Dr. Monroe is an Ohio native with a degree in political science and economics from Christendom College, a master of education from Marymount University, and a Ph.D. in Catholic education leadership and policy studies from The Catholic University of America. He resides in Huntersville, North Carolina with his wife and two sons.
